I made a reservation for 10 people at 8:30pm. I got there at 8:20pm to checked in. My guests arrived at 8:35pm. We waited there for 30 minutes. I had to go and asked for the table three times. We finally got sat down, they offered us a bottle of wine as compliment because of the waiting time. After we got sit down we ordered 5 appetizers and 9 entrees. JOEY AVENTURA 4/10👎 upon arrival your greeted with champagne and asked to show your id at the door .Our waitress was very rude she checked our id over 5 times refused to allow us to order drinks becuase one person id was expired we were told she can use a picture of it but that was later declined by another manager , we had to ask for a new server which the manager assumed the role of our waitress which was cool but the micro aggression from white woman towards us last night was insane and very uncomfortable 😳 they were pr... read more
I ordered salmon and it was served cold. My party ordered the chicken parm it was hot but if my meal was the most expensive $41 vs 28 I need it to be worth the pay. I would not order the salmon because although it didn’t taste bad was not worth the money.

I’ve been to the locations in la, Downtown & Manhattan beach. Both of which I love. This location wasn’t giving me any of the goodness I was hoping for. Food taste like it was missing something. The hostess weren’t very nice. I won’t be going again.

This restaurant is one of the worst restaurants we have been to. It was my wife and I anniversary. Once we arrived at Joey's Aventura. No one greeted us for a while. We were not offered the complimentary champagne. After a while we were seated. Our waitress was very unprofessional and had very poor communication. We asked for water with ice and she brought only water. My drink was empty the entire time because she was too busy at the bar talking to one of her friends that stopped by. This place was overpriced for just pub food. I did not know that it is a chain We went to Joey to celebrate my son’s 19th birthday. He ordered the lobster spaghetti, which was plated like a Denny’s pasta plate, nothin’ special for $43. My other son ordered Steak and Sushi for $75, and again Sushi look like it could’ve came from Publix with sliced steak. Nothing special. The price is the price. I get it. There’s a lot of overhead. The service was terrible and I have been to JOEY several times so I know what the standard is. Our server was pushy, she was not accommodating whatsoever and she was not attentive to our table.
