Food left a lot to be desired. The beets in the salad were burnt as well as the apple pie. Our server was great but when asked to move to a booth they said not it was reserved for a party of 5 and then 5 min later they sat a party of 4 just like us. Overall not a good experience.
Very expensive for what you get, food had no flavor
Have been coming to Joeys in Canada for years. When this one opened last year, my husband and I came and we liked it a lot. I ordered my usual- the baja fish tacos and asked for my usual substitution: remove the shrimp and add more cod. It was no issue. The food was great. Never was this an issue in Canada either. I placed my order yesterday and the lovely lady taking our order stated they can no longer make that substitution. I was shocked. Thats my favorite thing on the menu! The restaraunt is not the same as it was when it opened. Portions are small. The servers were all new 20 dollar coupon tells you restaraunt is not doing well. In my opinion! Not going back. Joeys in LA is superb. Here, i don’t know what happened.
Been there twice now. Only went second time to give another chance. Hard to believe they are even in business with service that bad. Servers totally clueless and awful. Not giving them a 3rd chance.
The food was Not so great as I expected… Not to many options in the nenu. Place and service very good
If U like a hip place, this is it, but way too noisy for me.
I never got an opportunity to eat at the restaurant. My reservation was cancelled just as I was parking because they had a problem with one of the restrooms and were not admitting anyone. A manager called me and told me they would send me a gift card for dinner on another occasions but it never came.
Joey Aventura ? Horrible ! “The service”. Oh, there was none ! I had a reservation on OpenTable on a Saturday night at 8 PM and when I got there they told me people were still seated at that table so I told her I would sit at the high top right next to the bar.  all I needed within the first 20 minutes when nobody came by was a glass of water and I could not get it.
