We recently returned to JOEY Burrard when we were invited back by the staff after a disappointing experience — and I have to give credit where it’s due. It was very busy and I think they didn’t have enough staff on cause it took a while to get service. Don’t think it was the servers fault

This 3 stars is based entirely on food. The food was delicious, but the service was awful. Our waiter was snippy, rushed, and rude. The appetizers were barely at our table when the mains arrived, and then he took away the appetizer plates because they had placed the 6 of us crowded around a small table and we weren’t even done eating the appies yet.
