It was an unfortunate visit this New Years eve, I was running late and called ahead to notify the staff, the staff answered and confirmed that it was ok. When I arrived I was rudely told that I did not call, and that my table was given away, because they assumed I was not coming. I was not notified and I had arrived less then 10 minutes after my reservation time and well within the time I stated on the call. Food was ok. Hosts great. Server??? It wasn’t even that busy. We had to wait a long time to keep having our beverages refilled.
$123 for two entrees, two drinks and a kids grilled cheese. Absurd
Was disappointing not knowing the happy hour terms have changed and though we went during the right time, after we sat and about to order was informed that they can’t give us happy hour food unless we are in the lounge and when I asked to move there, they didn’t accept having a minor (child) with us Otherwise food was good but didn’t like the approach and communication
We recognize that it was a busy night, but after making a prior reservation for the dining room we had to ask to be moved twice as the music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other speak. The food was just so-so and likely premade and reheated as it arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. The service was poor - they only asked if I want a beer after my food was finished. Had to ask the manager for the bill. Poor overall compared to Cactus Club, Earls, or Browns in similar restaurants.
Food was delicious a d great presentation, but server was either over booked for her section or very forgetful as we had to ask over and over and over again for items - hot water, ketchup, etc

It was too noisy In the lounge. The Katsu chicken said was too spicy and it didn’t say no lettuce. My boyfriend ordered the fish tacos but too much onions and small portions.

Joey Burrard should be named Joey Robson. There are two Joey's on Burrard. Joey Bentall? Should be Joey Burrard. Both myself and my lunch companion went to Joey Bentall, having no idea there was a Joey on Burrard at Robson. When I booked the table didn't anticipate walking blocks in opposite directions to get to a restaurant that was quite far from where we wanted to be. The names are only for the regulars.

The quality of the food has gone way down at Joey’s …will not return. Used to be a regular. Highly disappointed.
