Some really bad menu changes. Guacamole should always be available nd the butter chicken was a favourite. Too much seafood on your menu. Ambiance and service is fabulous Derrick was great !!!

I recently visited Joey Don Mills for my birthday, and unfortunately, I was not very satisfied with the experience. The food quality was decent, but the portion sizes have noticeably become smaller compared to before, especially considering the high prices. We had a reservation for 8:15 PM and even arrived a little earlier, but despite being there on time, we were only seated at 8:35 after repeatedly following up, even though there were empty tables available. First of all, it was so loud I could not even hear the person in front of me. They’re playing reggaeton at 10:30 at night on blast. 2nd its so loud the servers  couldn’t hear me at all and got my order wrong 3 times. Every dish that came out was missing something i ordered. The servers need to be trained and how to listen and not have selective listening. The damn restaurant is to learn to turn down the music and let people eat in peace . I ordered 4-5 different thing. As a frequent visitor to Joey on Shops, my experience was very sad over the long weekend. I called the restaurant to speak to the manager the next day as I did not want to make a scene during my visit. The individual I spoke to was very nice and polite and recommended that I reach out to the manager who was the one that would be able to help. I waited 3 days for the manager to reply to my email and am still waiting. I guess customer satisfaction is not as important as it seems to this manager. We spend so much money every t... read more

Service was horrible. Missing items, orders taking too long for things like a bottle of sparkling water. Even then, I had to wait another 10 mins for a class to drink out of it. To top it off, I ordered dessert and after 20 minutes realizing it wasn't coming, we asked for the bill and then were called liars for claiming we ordered the dessert. This was a business meeting too.....never again.
