I don’t usually leave reviews like this, but our experience yesterday was not acceptable. We had a reservation at 8:00, and our waitress was able to start us off with drinks within 10 minutes (which was great to start). She came back after 20 minutes and we ordered a plate of wings to start. Afterwards, she cleared the empty drink cups and wing plates off our table. We made a reservation on OpenTable with email confirmation, got to the restaurant and the hostess informed us that they had no record of the reso and that they were fully booked. Had to improvise another spot for a business dinner. Not awesome

We were moved from our table, as we were told that the table we were seated on was reserved by somebody else and nobody else showed up on that table till we left. Even though we were offered an apology, that left quite a bad taste in our mouths! We kept wondering if that’s actually because the people on the neighbouring table simply didn’t like that we had our 2 grandkids with us???

Staff was friendly but extremely slow and inattentive. This was a business lunch and we were never asked if we’d like a second cocktail and our food orders were taken until 12:35pm after I flagged the server down. One client had to be back at the office for a 1:15 meeting and by the time his food arrived he didn’t even have a chance to have a bite and instead had to ask for a box to take it to go. Patio was busy but not the busiest I’ve seen and not so busy that the service couldn’t have been better.

The restaurant was clearly very understaffed. We undertook pouring our own water and gathering our own napkins because the service was so painfully slow. Food and drinks were good when they eventually came.

Despite taking our reservation, they had a problem keeping our reservation - our table had been given away to a walk-in party, and we were squeezed in at the bar.
