Joey was great but the process was too complex and lots of paper work which seemed very unnecessary. I have taken at home loans before and this by far is the most complex and time consuming of all.There were several times where I almost decided to go with a different bank just because I have never had to deal with so much paperwork. While dealing with Joey was pleasant, the rest of your process was not. It took way too long, and and having to submit the same documents two and three times was annoying. When it became clear that you couldn't get an appraisal in a reasonable amount of time, you should have waived the requirement. This property was appraised at $325,000 three years ago, and I was asking for $190,000. This was absurd.

Joey was fantastic. He was professional, intelligent, and very calming in what is normally a very stressful experience. On those occassions Joey was unavailable, the other folks covering for him were equally responsive and professional. The ONLY complaint through the entire process was the dismissive and lack of ownership of the appraisal management company used. Their delays and internal inability to communicate caused my closing date to move out 4 times.

I don’t know if it’s Joey or the process, but I had to do a lot of things for the loan. The repeated calls from Credit check company asking me to call my bank and set up 3 way conference calls was a pain and very time consuming. Not t once, not twice, but three times. Asking the same questions. It’s like it was amateur hour at the bank. My bank refused to release information to them and called me and said this is not the way banks operate. But I asked them to just push forward and they did. Etc

Too much paperwork both during the application part and closing. My lawyer said the closing/signature package had the most she had ever seen . Took over an hour to sign all the documents
