Friendly service, great food - my team really enjoyed our lunch.
Food was great, however our server was quite slow even though the restaurant was pretty quiet when we were there. It took over 10 minutes to get our initial drink order.
The food was great but the service was a little slow, and our server did not come around for drink refills or to check on us. The noise level was a little too high for lunch time when business lunches are often held.
We were on the heated patio, it was slightly too hot and we were all sweating halfway through the dinner. Service was poor and strange. We were checked in on few times and were left to wait for the bill for 30 minutes after receiving our desserts. Our two desserts were brought out 10 minutes apart, etc. She seemed to not want to talk to us much or even be around the table, as she was very quick to run away before all of our requests were given. New server, struggled with timing made the lunch awkward as we had to ask to take order and get the bill. Long periods in between check ins and had to ask for bill. Requested to purchase gift certificates she told us GM would come by. Waited about 10 minutes and had to leave as no one came by. Big miss
Our meal was interrupted by a fire alarm that lasted 20+ minutes. Our server (Mike) was very apologetic but could not provide information as to the cause of the alarm. The alarm made for an unpleasant experience that rattled guests and staff.
Portion of food was much less than last few visits, steak was okay, Unfortunately ordered extra as I was left still hungry. Maybe you've had some menu changes not entirely sure. I will be back, but I will ask and request more details to the menu before ordering. We are on the patio and there are a lot of flies and wasps.
You know longer serve “sliders” which is what we had come for! Very disappointing. There was nothing else on the menu that was suitable for my guest. She had garlic toast. I ordered crispy mashed potatoes and chili chicken. The crispy mashed potatoes were very good and up to the standard I have come to expect at Joeys. The chips in the chili chicken were stale.
