Incredibly slow service even though a ton of service staff. We were a table of 4 and 3 different people brought us spoons for our dessert (first one brought 2 spoons then someone else came with 1 more spoon and the someone else came with a 4th spoon). Maybe they could lower their prices on food if they didn’t have to pay for so much inefficiency.
Joey's looks tired, outdated, dirty. The decor is very depressing and way past its 'best by date.' The menu is very limited and the drinks are way too expensive for what you receive. Time to update Joey's. Not returning until I've heard they've updated. Too bad, was one of my faves back then. :(
This is the second time in one week that I went to joey's and they did not have the spicy crab dip. However, when I ordered it, the server never told us that they don't have it, and just brought out two out of the three dishes that we ordered. We then had to pick a third dish after all of our food had already arrived. We never got refills on our drinks, nor did anyone come and ask us how our food was. Just a lot a great experience.
We were sat in the bar area and the bartender waiting on us never came back for water or tea. Would not sit in that area again. Poor service!
The staff were all very pleasant and attentive. The food was average. I had the 6oz steak -medium- and it was overdone. Also not a great value for the meal. Although the ambience is nice I would probably only return during happy hour as prices were high for the plates.
POS down. Was not informed until we were seated with business clients and too late to go elsewhere. Hand written receipts will probably be problematic when I go to expense this receipt. Was told they couldn't even send me a proper one later...unacceptable.
You need to get your network issues under control . I’ve been there several times and you have had system outage , therefore making paying your bill a nightmare for customers and servers . Put some attention around that , as we are there every Friday , and may need to rethink our choice of dining if this continues. The servers at Joys are all amazing !.
