My loved one really likes it here, and my loved one has had friends over for meals. I would highly recommend John Knox to others for their loved ones. There is a lot of people I know that live here and they are all pleased with it. Linen cleaning and changing, a meal plan, transportation, utilities, and the apartment that are included in the monthly fee. There are laundry facilities near my loved one's room, and they have a full kitchen in the apartment. The community has activities for the residents to choose from.

I would recommend John Knox Village to others for their loved ones. There is a lot of inclusive items for the residents to use. It feels like a little town because everything is right there, except groceries. There is a beauty salon on site, a dining room, and more. My loved one enjoys bingo, exercises, puzzles, and more for activities. The staff seem friendly when passing in the hallways.
John Knox Village made it so easy to pick this community for our loved one. On our tour they had so much patience with us and all the question's we had. The people were so nice and have continued to be so nice all the way from the management team to the maintenance team. It is also a good value for everything our loved one has.
Good community, more expense than anticipated.
I really liked the apartments here, they were very roomy. They seemed to offer a lot of great amenities and have a swimming pool. The location was just not the right fit for me.
We had loved ones here previously and were happy with them. But not this time. My loved one was there for a short hospice respite stay. I felt like she was left alone a lot. It was hard for me because she just laid there, which maybe that needed to happen. But I wasn't happy with them and decided to move her to a different place, where she is now up and eating and moving around. I felt like she was just declining at John Knox. This is a good safe place for your loved one. They have activities like bingo, cards, movie nights and more for the residents to do. There is something new every week to keep them entertained.
We chose John Knox Village because I was in a desperate situation when dad was getting out of the hospital. The facility came recommended to me so we went to check them out and they had some deals going on that made it the perfect price for him. The apartment sizes here are great, his set up could not be better. They offer plenty of activities for the residents and I hope he will start getting more involved with those.
