What made this a great experience, was the fact that you can ask Joe absolutely anything in the most unorthodox way, you can ask from the basics to the more complicated parts of the process and he will answer professionally and politely. Communication was on point. While the process does seem arduous at times, and the requests from underwriting may seem a bit extreme the level of communication from Joe / Angela & the entire mortgage firm team was top notch. Coordinating and navigating closing of the loan for the home I was purchasing to correlate with the closing of the home I was selling was their exemplary performance. It was a very short turnaround time to process the loan and prevented a double move and expense for me. The entire staff was always very pleasant and helpful as well as effective and efficient. The highly complimentary referral I received was justified and exceeded.

There were communication issues. Not communicating to me that I did not qualify for a doctor loan made me pay more upfront. Also, I was not pleased with how the underwriter liaison communicated to me overall. I asked at times to speak over the phone and I was never called.

What made it ONLY ok was the fact that we were told if we pulled the Insurance out of the mortgage and paid it ourselves (like we have been doing for 30+ years) they would charge us a one time $900 fee. Absolute BULLSHIT!
