Expectations and timeline was not straightforward. I felt like every couple of days I would received documents for signature and think that I was done with the paperwork, only to received more a couple of days later. I would recommend communicating something like - "The documents you had outstanding are signed and complete, please expect PreClosing documents for signature within a week". This would give me a better idea of what was next and that there will be more documents coming.

Next time when locking a rate. LO should give all options available to borrowers. When I had my closing Interest rates were decreasing. I was asked if I wanted to lock my rate. I asked if when I it was time to close. If Interest rates were lower than the one I locked if I could get the lower rate. I was told NO! But If I would have been informed that I could get the much lower rate & the requirements. I would have taken that option!
