The halibut was chewy and not flakey. Didn’t eat it. Our waitress was too busy chatting it up elsewhere and not attending to us
To start, we were sat by the bathrooms, while there were open tables to accommodate for two. Was super stoked when I saw the fresh bread in the distance. Server come over and pulled a plate of cold dry bread for the lower portion of her tray and place it on our table. We order immediately. After some time the main was ready. I requested A1 at arrival, however it did not come until we had finished our stake. We did get 20% off of our meal which was thoughtful, but the lack of attention to detail left a bad taste in my mouth.
We are regular customers at K Bar in February we went to dinner I order it was kicked out somehow and just yesterday March 3rd we went again waited waited waited our order was kicked out again twice in a row I wasn't too happy we ended up getting our dinner to go and I was so upset I couldn't even eat my dinner I don't know if I'll ever go back
This was by far the worst restaurant I’ve ever ate at.. the bread was good and so was the clam chowder but the seafood pasta tasted like tomato paste, the potato’s were Luke warm and the steak was horrible. Will never go back
Ordered a house salad with Caesar dressing and was served a Caesar salad with croutons, tomato, olives which I am allergic to in addition to ordering a petite filet medium rare and receiving a rare filet with lukewarm vegetables which I returned to the kitchen along with a hot baked potato, my sister ordered the scallops and baked potato and hers arrived hot and steaming. As luck would have it, we were assigned the newest or worst server in the restaurant. We waited an eternity between each step of the meal. When the soup finally arrived, it was cold. Same with the main course. The steak was overdone. The restaurant needs to have a special of the day and/or totally revamp the menu. There is absolutely no imagination or change which becomes boring quickly.
Salad was pre-made, just pulled out of cooler. Very small. No dressing, had to ask for it. Sat at table over 10 minutes before anyone approached.
Did not get served within a timely manner. Other guests coming in after us and got served before us. Main course was not timed with enough duration between salad and main entree. Food was not cooked as specified. Server was not paying attention to the evolution of the dining process, i.e. busing of tables, etc. Wine presentation not very good either. Had to bring these issues to a manager. Not a good experience in my opinion.
Very nice looking restaurant though the food wasn’t up to par for the prices.
