Clay got kind of a raw deal becsuse the previous loan officer we used through KBHS was so unorganized and didn't communicate with us or ask us for the required documents in time and our closing date moved because of it. We decided we no longer wanted to work with our previous loan officer and Clay took over. He improved our experience in some ways such as he communicated more and eventually got us to clsomg. our closing date did move a second time. The vllsing was scheduled an hour before.

Communication was not 100% there. I, as a first-time homebuyer, would have liked to have more communication from the loan officer and have my questions answered. The process of home buying is stressful enough; there's no need to get more stress from worrying about if and when your loan officer will respond to your questions.

I would have liked some advice earlier in the process about raising my credit score. I was told that we could use a credit simulator, but I ended up having to do the research on my own. I also wasn’t clear on the amount due at closing and I was told two different figures that were both incorrect. I ended up paying more than what was required at closing due to this. I had several calls throughout the process that I felt were unnecessary.
