On the mothers' day, it was so packed and long line which is to be expected but I am truly mind blown by people who sat down in the waiting area and actually saw my girlfriend's face turning white as we stood in the waiting area for a hour and 15 mins and they actually kept sitting there without getting off and tell her go ahead sit down. You people are so ruthless. Please be considerate of people who has physical injuries/ problems from car accident and elder people. Great food, however don't go if you are ever in a hurry at lunchtime. Even after telling the server we were in a rush it still took over an hour to get our food...and We scarfed it down so fast we felt sick after.
Prompt and friendly service, which was why it got two stars instead of 1. The food was below average. I ordered a eggs Benedict on portabella. I honestly don't think the kitchen staff understand the concept of a poached egg. The egg came out very overcooked and basically became a hard boil egg with Hollandaise sauce. Looking at the reviews previously, it looks like this is a repeated offense and not just a one time mistake.
I went with 2 friends that expressed the same as I'm going to tell you. The BLT was ordered with extra mayonnaise. The fruit dish was good, but there's an up-charge for that side. The mayo came to the table when the sandwich was more than 1/2 finished. The steak and cheese press was the made with the smallest tortilla I've ever seen. It was skimpy of steak as well. Watery scrambled eggs, cold bland stuffed waffles, mediocre potatoes. Why is this place a 4-star average? Who knows, but not me. The one star is for the service which was nice and attentive but the food is very ihop-ish and to be honest not as good.
Went to this location before and I was seated by the window where everyone will just watch as you eat so I asked could we be moved to the seat just across the room where it was empty. The waitress stated it was saved for someone so I asked well its a two person table why can't you just give them this seat since it seated two people as well.( its not even like we made the table dirty we didn't even order yet) she tells me well its kinda like your lucky to have been seated...I looked at her and got up and we left. We have come here for breakfast a couple of times, but we decided to try the burgers this time. I asked the waitress how they were, but she'd never had one. I figured that for the price they must be good, but when they came out we could tell that they were 2 frozen patties, unseasoned and not made fresh. Ugh!!! Not good at all. Ended leaving half of our burgers and chips. What a waste of time!
Whilst dinning at this location I am not impressed with the AM Wait staff. Went in with breakfast in mind. Was seated and the wait began........ And waited... went to restroom... came back nobody came by to check on the party I'd been seated with.... waited ......still nothing. Others came and went .....waited longer?! We attempted to get breakfast this morning. We were seated promptly. But in the ten minutes we waited NO ONE CAME to the table to take our drink order much less our breakfast order. Our table was in clear view of the front windows and several servers passed us by- I suppose none of which were assigned to our table? But even so i did the staff should have noticed and greeted us or something. Weird. I won't be going back. There are better diners in the area with better service.
