Don't go here when they first open, wait 30 minutes or so. Apparently this particular one turns off the a/c at night. Place was a friggin oven when they first open in the morning. Service was sloooow, we were the only ones there....too busy talking in the kitchen.
Definitely not coming back on a Sunday morning. Not sure if it was over capacity or under staffed but 2 hour wait for breakfast is not my idea of having a good time. Got here at 10:44am and got my food at 12:24pm. For that I would've ordered lunch. Server was nice though.
Extremely average! Went for lunch a few weeks ago food was awful. Ordered eggs sunny side up they were overcooked. Southwest Turkey clubhouse came with no bacon and funky compressed type turkey that you would find in plastic bag in the supermarket, also a Carolina chicken salad which came with chicken bits so deep fried that they looked like and tasted like pellets of something but not chicken. Heard they were supposed to be good. Go to the Southern place in the same mall or The Chuckwagon in Apopka for real food.
The wait was incredible it took 40 minutes once we were seated to eat and we're talking about tuna and fruit and a tuna melt !' Slow down on the takeout and take care of the people who have driven to see you
Server was great at trying to seat me in a spot with good reception, but after numerous attempts, I gave up trying to connect to my hotspot. I was surprised to hear they don't share WiFi with their customers in 2021, especially since they are aware of the limited cellphone service in the building. In the end: not a breakfast spot you can get work done at.
The worst service ever. We placed a to go order and sat for 30 minutes waiting for it, the manager heard me complain about it waiting and said "let me go check on your food" then disappeared for about 10 more minutes and came back avoiding me like the plague. I will NEVER be back... thanks for nothing KeKe.
I moved to Apopka a from Hunters Creek a few months ago and was happy to see my favorite breakfast place is here too. Little things have been wrong but I overlooked it because the food is usually good. This weekend was very different. First off my wait time was way longer than I was told it would be. I made an account just to write a review because my experience was so bad at Keke's in Apopka recently. My food took forever to come out and the service was bad too! My waffle was hard and I found an egg shell in my eggs. On top of that, the manager Elizabeth was terrible. She provided no real explanation for my bad experience and was unprofessional.
Here's a question. Is it the norm for the waiters/waitresses not to bring back the actual change when you're paying with cash? It's happened a couple times here. Monday, my bill was $11.36 or something like that. I paid with a $20 and got $8.00 back. No change. They also did it with my friend who also paid w/cash so between the two of us, it was pretty close to $1.00. We questioned it to ourselves, but let it go. Is this Keke's policy?
