I never like to do this because I am in the service industry myself and completely understand that mistakes happen, however... I did not have a good experience at this location. I live in Gainesville and love that location of KeKe’s. But, I went out to breakfast with my family and one of our omlettes was made wrong and then my omelette had a whole sheet of paper on the inside of it. The manager never came over. Sat in this place for a half hour before a server even took our order, and even when she did it’s because we had to flag her down not because she noticed we’ve been sitting there. After the order was placed we waited for an hour for our food before we had to flag down our waitress, who has yet to come back to the table in between us ordering and us complaining, just to be told the order was never put in. The pancakes were good, but no better than anywhere else really. Also the whole place smelled vaguely like old dish sponge...
I have been to this location many times since it opened last year. We loved it. It has been a couple months since my last visit. 6 of us went today and it was TERRIBLE. No one received the correct order the first time around. Trying to get refills and follow up was like pulling teeth. It took 4 times to get the billing straighten out. Wife and I had breakfast 4/23 and it was excellent. We raved to everyone about it. We tried them again today 5/2, this time not so much. The American Fry's were under cooked and a bit to aldente, eggs were ok. Wife's Portobello Mushroom was much to her liking but again her potatoes were under cooked. We are planning a get together for this Sunday. I sincerely hope I will not be disappointed.
This Largo location is subpar! I’m a frequent visitor of the Citrus Park location (5star each visit). This Largo location is much closer to me so I thought I’d go here to get this breakfast that I love. Well I should have known something was different when I ordered my regular breakfast and the waitress said you can’t order a omelette only, you have to get the full breakfast. The most expensive bowl of lettuce ever, $10. I don't mind paying $10 for a salad (actually if it a good salad that is reasonable) but please....disappointed because I recommended this place for breakfast.
People were great! Menu looks good. Would like to try it for lunch. Was not impressed with their flapjacks (they call pancakes) at breakfast. They were rather dense & heavy & fried crispy on the outside. I don't eat pancakes often, but when I do I prefer them light & fluffy.
