We went there for breakfast, actually when they just opened in the morning. The server was great; guess the cook was late so she did double-duty as the cook. We were a party of three and all the food came out delicious. Ambiance was bright and airy. But I will say the server/cook went beyond the call of duty to make sure we had a good experience.
We visited for brunch over a holiday weekend, so it was no surprise the restaurant was busy. We were warmly greeted by the hostess, who gave us an estimated 45-minute wait. The space is larger than it initially appears, and the wait ended up going by quickly before we were seated. My family and I have been to several Keke's locations and the restaurant never disappoints. We went for Mother's Day breakfast and as expected the restaurant was super busy. But they were extremely organized with the electronic waitlist and very clear about the anticipated wait time of an hour plus. Came here for Mother's Day and my little sister's birthday and we had such a great time! The food was really good, everything came out fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere was nice. Even though it was super packed obviously due to it being mother's day, the staff still did a great job and made the experience enjoyable. Our server Lisa was honestly the best -- she was so sweet, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. Definitely worth the wait and we'll for sure be coming back!
After fasting for a blood test, I was starving! I could not wait to head over and check out the new Keke's Breakfast Cafe in Parkland at the Waterways Shoppes. Keke's is a chain of breakfast and lunch restaurants that opened in 2006 and is based out of Orlando. They have grown to locations all over Florida. The time I ordered a pancake 'n egg meal from here I liked the food. More recently, when I craved a fluffy omelet and ordered the omelet here I was a little less enamored. The service did not exactly seem up to my standards either time yet in my mind what I'll call a "pass." This is my favorite breakfast spot in Boca. The pancake combo is great. Blueberry pancake, egg overeasy and bacon cooked perfectly. Nicole, my waitress each time, was cheerful and welcoming, and kept my coffee cup full.
Keke's Breakfast Cafe was an amazing experience from start to finish. The restaurant was spotless, the food was delicious, and everything ran so smoothly--even on a busy Sunday morning. Staff was extremely friendly and thoughtful. Loved the wikki sticks for the kids. Loved the pancakes and flavorful bacon.
