My fault never got their estimate before they did the job. But went thru Angi list for recommendations. They fixed my outside spigot mind you not put it in, but fixed it. Took almost 3 hours to do. After the job was done you could push on the spigot and it would move very loose. Was told that was the best it could be done. Used it once and it got worse, it cost over $1000. This company charged $950 for a quote and to reset a toilet which took 2 hours. E.R. doctors do not get paid like this. The supplies for a toilet were less than $10 and the leak I had was not even fixed. Not recommended!
I contacted Kennihan on Tuesday November 30 because I had no heat. I was told that they would likely be out Wednesday or Thursday . By Friday, no one showed up, I called and they had written down my phone number wrong. A technician showed up Friday afternoon , looked over the furnace and said that the blower control circuit was bad, that I would hear from them first thing Monday morning about parts and repairs. The troubleshooting, however, was done by working with the manufacturer on the unit and the logical steps to the repair were followed. The troubleshooting pointed towards issues with the recent electrical surge problems in the area and so the steps had to be followed to get power to the motor. Unfortunately sir, we are a plumbing company, not an appliance company. We made sure the hard pipe gas line was in good shape and found that the leak was at the hose with gas valve that connects to your grill. We don't carry those hoses. Your local home store does or your manufacturer. We're sorry you are disappointed.
really bad service
I could understand the fee of $87 for the initial visit but if you break down the total bill it was high. They install a 8ft section of flexiable pipe, I hose pib and one shut off valve. Total install time was 2 hours. allowing 1 hour for travel and $50 for parts that comes out to be $295 per hour do the math and that comes out to over $613,600 per year. I would also like to mention that Ryan the associate was efficient, and I good rep for the company.
