Get directionsGood service, Workman did a nice job. However, extremely expensive. $1600 just to replace a standard toilet?
Their pricing is about 4 times prevailing rates. I should have checked before setting up the appointment.
Kennihan was not the lowest cost contractor that Home Advisor suggested for my basement sewage backup issue. However, the following reasons are why I chose them: 1. They contacted me within 30 minutes of my search. 2. Scheduled service for early the next day. 3. Provided the names of their techs when I scheduled. 4. The techs messaged me 15 minutes before arrival. 5. The techs explained how they would clear the blockage and the cost. 6. They came out the day after they contacted me and did fixed my leak. Made sure nothing else was wrong with pipes before they left. Will definitely use them again.
Too expensive.
A $5.00 part was installed and it cost me $174.00
The customer service has an internal communication problem. I would get to talk to different people and have to explain my situation over again which was very frustrating. Their labor was extremely high for the guy being here no more than an hour. He shut my water off and I was told by my water company that he wasn't allowed to do that.
They were prompt to begin, but it went down hill after that. The $500. Water heater cost us over a thousand. The next day it started to leak. They came back after we called about it, and told us we needed $700. Dollars more to finish the task PLUS we also needed $2,000 more to replace some pipes and other misc. work. I guess they thought they would take further advantage of the seniors. Never again.
