Gave us an overall view of what needed to be done and then let us decide what we wanted to do. No preasure to do everything on the list. Very friendly staff, did the work in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves!

John Bullard directed an expert crew when my windows were installed. The installation could not have gone any better. They took a barely usable basement space and added windows which made for a well-lit, comfortable, workroom. There were no issues or problems. I barely noticed they were in the house and suddenly 14 windows had been professionally installed and the old ones removed.

My new-to-me home built in 1947 was 95 degrees in the walk-up attic in the summer! It made downstairs hot, too. I just couldn't stand it any more. If you put your hand on the ceiling, it was amazingly hot. A friend suggested just nailing some foam boards onto the underside of the roof, but I thought there has to be a better solution. I did research, saw the blown-in insulation, and had Josh Lowe out to give me a proposal. It ended up spray foam was the better solution. Since his company installs spray foam AND blown-in cellu... read more

The crew arrived on time - they always called to let me know when they were on their way. The house was left in the same condition as they found it - there wasn't ANY garbage or debris from the install

Business response:

Hi Patty: Thank you for this nice review. At Josh Lowe's Dr. Energy Saver, our insulation teams work hard so our customers say "Wow!", and doing a thorough clean-up is definitely a component of that! Do please tell friends and family about our insulation services from the attic to the crawl space.

To start, please take the lack of poor reviews of this company with a grain of salt. The owner, Josh Lowe, said he required legal contracts preventing me from posting anything about him or his company online or on any social media before he would take any further steps. This means if there is a problem, you can't tell anyone about it, even if he does not fix it. I did not agree to sign anything. In addition, Josh Lowe DOES NOT GUARANTEE the work. There is only a 1 year limited warranty for “defects”, which the home... read more

Business response:

We are very sorry that our crew missed blowing in new cellulose in the small room addition attic after we removed the existing insulation. As soon as we were made aware last year, we promptly insulated it to R-60 with blown cellulose and sincerely apologized. We also recommended an AC be installed at that time to get to her desired comfort level again stating that insulation is not the only thing that will make your home comfortable. Only after she told Josh she wanted a $5,000.00 refund or she was going to sue us, Josh then... read more
