I have only ever been filled up 1 time out of 4 fill ups. Every time they come to fill up what they do;the drivers always put down 0 to 75% when in fact they never put in 75% because otherwise I would always be filled up at 80 or well above 80. And when I confronted them about the false numbers the person on the phone lied to me and said it was correct because apparently 15% plus 75% doesn’t equal 90% but it apparently equals 75%. Soon getting ready to take business elsewhere.
Business response:
Hi Matthew – Sorry for the confusion. We never want our customers to feel that we are falsifying our numbers. We are committed to providing honest and transparent services. Our invoices show starting meter reading and ending meter reading, just like a gas station. Those readings are not associated with percentages or what is in a tank when we arrive. Regardless, we understand your frustration. If you could kindly call us, we would like the chance to restore your confidence in us.
I was always called if my bill was past due and I paid it over the phone. This time, Koppys decided to send me an email to an address that hasn’t been active in nine years. I paid my bill last week and it posted to my bank account, however, they claim it hasn’t updated in their system yet. Ran out of propane this morning and called them. They asked me to pay for a delivery which I did. Then they called me back to tell me that nobody is in the area today and that I will have to wait until Monday for a delivery. So, no emergen... read more

BEWARE! Koppy's Propane, Inc. makes unsolicited deliveries & then charges an outrageous fee because you did not need their minimum delivery amount. They also charge "loan shark" finance charges if you forget to pay your Invoice w/in 30 days!
Business response:
Donna, this sounds alarming. I would like to know more about what happened and try to help the best I can. Can you please private message the page?
This place is the BIGGEST SCAM! WE had 2 100lb tanks for a fireplace which we never used. We HAD to top them off at end of year, plus pay 101.00 to rent because we did not use enough, then 68.00 to pick up tanks. Took 4 months to pick tanks up. Credit for any of unused propane...UH NO because what we paid over the year of getting it filled is not the going rate of the propane they are buying today. Oh and I was quoted a fee of 68.00 to PU tanks...today I was told they leave it at drivers discretion. THIS PLACE GETS AN ABS... read more

disabled veteran with 3 kids. told Friday I'd have Propane Saturday. called back to be sure and was told yes. have your scheduled for Saturday. I called today. I was told Monday. I emphasized how cold it is and will be the next few days. they don't care.
Terrible company, would not ever recommend. I moved into my recently deceased grandparent’s home. I was unaware my step-pap was renting his tanks and that they automatically filled them months ago. They ended up removing the tanks because there was a past due balance which was being billed to my pap(which is understandable). I then called to try and resolve everything and explain to them that I was unfamiliar with how everything worked and I was willing to pay the back balance to have the tanks brought back and the account p... read more

Only neutral at this time, service end so far was okay, but returned their tanks with 165 gals , roughly $350 worth of propane that had been paid on delivery. Got a bill yesterday for $74.93 for short lived hookup, so what about the $350 roughly returned in propane, are they go ing to reimburse me for that ? Hell of a lot more then what I owe in hook up fee !
In my opinion they suck. Customer service is horrible. We been having problems with them for a while now. Current issue is they are trying to say we had propane delivered on December 26, 2017 which is true. Had 100 gals deliver n paid with cash. January 3, 2018 we had to have yet again another 100 gals delivered that was paid with a card. Now right before a storm is to come I call to have propane delivered and they are telling me we OWE them $230 for propane we supposedly had delivered on January 9, 2018... They want $460+ t... read more
