love this business concept. employees in the bookstore were great and assisted my 11 yr old with their needs. Food in the restaurant part was amazing as was the wine and cocktails. it took atleast 30 minutes for someone to come to our table and take our drink order. it was not overly busy so it seemed maybe our table was overlooked as first. the hummus salad and truffle mac and cheese were so good!
The food here was mind-blowing! I tried the Cali Dagwood sandwich, the flavors were amazing! My taste buds sang the when time eating this delectable sandwich! The atmosphere is so cute! We got to sit outside and it was beautiful with little fairy lights and umbrellas. The server was very attentive and energetic which made the experience even better! 10 out of 10 would definitely come back again!
Third time back but this time not just for coffee, but also food. This spot is a DC classic and a must go if you're in DuPont circle area. Tried the New Haven style white clam pizza and it hits the spot. Shared it with my partner as we darted off to another resto for dinner. This was very filling and tastes really good.
We had the best meal and experience at Kramers. Looking forward to a casual, easy place to plant ourselves while some rain moved through. We were able to sit outside under a canopy, drink good drinks and eat cozy, tasty food. We had deviled eggs to start which were also so delicious. Our waiter was super knowledgeable and friendly.
it's ok, but expected more. I see a lot more hype books & pretentious titles than selections for good reading. always hate to see multiple piles, shelves, & displays of titles they're pushing, but that was the vibe here. lunch counter & bar - that's nice, but no real sense of comfort.
Someone recommended that I check out this book store and I absolutely loved it there! It's a medium sized bookstore with everything you need. Due to its size, the in-store catalogue is limited but based on what they chose to put out, you can tell they are quite diverse and inclusive. They also have a children's corner, games, cards, socks (lol) and random dorky items for purchase which I absolutely love. At the back, there's a cafe when you can get something to eat or drink while reading. I'll certainly go back and recommend... read more
The burger sauce wasn't my favorite but I enjoyed being seated outdoors and the live music. The cheesecake was really good.
Kramers is a must stop every time I visit DC! I love the food I love the atmosphere and I love the book selections!
