There was a condescending tone to most of my conversations with Kristy. There was never a: “You are almost there. Congratulations” type talk. I never felt happy after a conversation with her. I even spoke to Kristy early on and told her I hadn’t purchased a home in 20 years. She assured me she did not mean to be condescending, but her behavior continued. The service was average. Only thing I would change would be educate more on the front in with rate locks. I was the one who continued to contact Bank South - I was curious about a rate lock but Kristy told us to wait. When i looked back on the emails, I missed out on a lower rate.

I personally feel that it was a poor communication and the Banker didn’t really take the time to explain as much and it was a bit frustrating being that I’m a new buyer and have a very little knowledge on buying a home

If the lender had been more proactive with offering suggestions that would have been helpful at saving on the loan. Such as a rate lock, buying points etc. I always had to bring up the topics.
