NO OUTLETS, in a COFFEE SHOP!! I went in to study and got a coffee, sat down and realized there is not a single outlet in this store!
The people are very nice, the service was very slow and the muffin I had was the worse (a waste of money). The coffee is pretty good (a level above Starbucks), but plan to have extra time to get served and don't order eats.
Not impressed. Lackluster service from uninterested staff more focused on talking to each other than waiting on customers. I was one of four people who ordered within 15 minutes and they forgot my order. I stood in front of counter for 5 minutes with employees right in front of me and no one acknowledged me. I finally had to ask if someone was making my drink. What I got was milk with a little bit is espresso. Very watered down.
Normally the coffee and toast are 10/10. But lately their customer service has gone downhill. I placed my order online for pick up and showed up 10 minutes after it said my order was ready. First, only the toast was ready and the coffee was not done. I asked the gentleman working the counter about the drinks since the tracker said it was done 10 minutes prior. Do not waste your time. The toast took 25 minutes. The coffee came out in 35 minutes, but they refused to give me the two cups I ordered and paid for (they only gave me one). The service was not kind either.
Horrible mess this AM. 25 minutes to get order and barista seems overwhelmed and unkind. Maybe come back?
"Thanks for calling LaLa Land, how can i make your day amazing?" Great greeting, but I called to place a to-go order... they don't do it. It must be done through the website or app. So dumb in my opinion as that easily takes twice as long than a simple phone order. So I guess you can't make my day amazing. This review is for employees working at closing 7PM on 12/10/2021. They all looked real pissed; not my usual La La Land experience. They looked very bothered and wanted to go home when I placed my order. One of the lady went out and said this to customers: "we close at 7 so the patio needs to close. Everyone NEEDS TO GO HOME" Haha what? Please give me back my usual La La Land Kind Cafe experience.
I ordered the matcha latte with oat milk and it was such a disappointment, it just tasted like oat milk and half of the beverage was foam. My husband got a hot americano that was very watered down and didn't taste like there was an espresso in it at all. I am very disappointed as these drinks were not cheap. My matcha latte was $6 and his americano was $4.50. We will not be returning. If you're looking for a coffee shop vibe this isn't the place for you.
