I am the person who was told I wasn't welcome in your establishment because of what I was wearing. I reached out via the corporate site and haven't heard back. I have part of the interaction on video. It was appalling. And then a manager tried to gaslight me - tell me the employee didn't say to me what she actually said multiple times because I asked for clarification in disbelief. I want to Preface by saying that I love this place, I come here often. I have always had good experiences here even during events. With that being said writing this review is hard, but I had the worst experience today with my order being backed up. Lala land is having a collaboration with Mickey and friends so I ordered their kids meal. I placed a pickup order for this location and it was pretty packed so I had to wait. I was in a hurry and I understand it being busy but having wait over 15 minutes from the time I set was pretty annoying since I had done it for a reason. I came specifically for the matcha and was really excited to check it out after all the hype but I was extremely disappointed. Normally, my wife and I come here often and never have bad experiences, today that changed. We have a family member who had never been to La La Land before, we insisted on her trying their drinks. Our family member has a gluten allergy so it's very crucial that we double check what she ingests is gluten-free. This is my first time ever rating my experience. That's how BAD it was!.. decided to drive by and do a "quick" snatch's stop. Well that quick stop turned into a 50 min wait!... I ordered an iced matcha that tasted more like milk than anything, I placed an avocado ordered that LITERALLY took 50 min for me to get!.. This place exemplifies everything I hate about west LA. Loud music, overpriced coffee, and the espresso was burned making for one miserable, acidic-tasting coffee. This was a while ago so maybe the drinks have gotten better-but I guarantee the prices haven't. The guy at the register called out "love you" as I left too-cmon bro you typically wait till at LEAST the third date to drop that. I ain't a fan. Felt pretentious and awkward as hell. Last Saturday- After waiting over 15-20 min for my latte, I struggled to get the attention of any of the rude staff who avoid eye contact and ignore everyone. The cashier finally told me I could just take an oatmeal instead since someone else probably took it and as I'm leaving they scream my drink is ready. My 11 year old daughter goes to get it and they accidentally splash hot foam in her face all laugh. Ironic that it's called "kind cafe".

I just want to say that there is so much unprofessionalism with the Glendale location. I love the drinks from La La, and been to other locations. First, I noticed that they had employees pretend to be customers in what appears to be major damage control. Nate Herrera is a CURRENT lead there. Ella Sweeney works there, Anna V is a current employee. And they all pretended to be customers.
