It feels like this cafe was made only for Instagram and little to no thought was given to the beverages/food menu. The staff didn't seem knowledgeable about the different items on the menu and could not make appropriate recommendations. I was skeptical about the quality of the matcha so I just got a simple chai tea which I was told would not be too sweet - but it came out full of sugar. It looks like they just added some chai syrup to milk and gave it to me - there was no tea! It's safe to say that I will not be coming back... read more

La La Land USED to be a 5 star matcha place, but they recently changed the matcha that they use and it is HORRIBLE. I couldn't even taste ANY matcha. PLEASE change back to the old matcha powder!!!!!!

I've been dying to try this coffee shop so when the chance presented itself I took it. Location: Its on the corner of a busy street. There is plenty of street parking around the area. Actual venue is very cute. Aesthetic decor. I walked in and it wasn't too busy. Surveyed the menu and chose the Strawberry Matcha drink. Cashier was polite and friendly. I stepped off to the side to wait for my drink. I waited a couple minutes and noticed they weren't calling out names for orders. I walked up and my drink was waiting there... read more

I've tried LA LA Land kind Cafe twice now and every time they've accidentally missed my drink order. I went a few days ago and after waiting 20 minutes and seeing everyone who was in line behind me get their drink, I asked about my family's drinks. They told me the ticket never printed and would be out soon. This has happened twice to me now :( maybe I'm cursed here but every time this has happened no one has offered any kind costumer service or even apologized for the long wait. Slow staff, line of 12 people, they take an order about every 3 minutes then walk away from the register, staff chatting in the back, probably 6 people working... 0 sense of urgency, there are better coffee shops on Montana don't fall for the hype
Way too pretentious and expensive. Tasty enough, but felt uncomfortable and annoyed in there! Enough said!
I'm not a fan of this location; I had a terrible experience. Parking is definitely not fun on a Saturday. Right from the beginning, the cashier was very sassy while taking our order. To make matters worse, it took forever for my two drinks to come out. The reason for the delay was that there was only one barista working, while the others were chit-chatting and on their phones. To top everything off, someone stole my drink, so I had to wait even longer. This will be my first and last visit to this location.

I judge a coffee shop based off their cappuccino. Without syrups and flavors, how good is the taste of their espresso? La La land is very mid. Too much milk in their cappuccino. Their coffee beans lack depth. I see why their most popular drinks are filled with extra flavors. This place is cute for the insta. You're (over)paying for the cute yellow cups and the Apple Store aesthetic. Really not good enough for a coffee snob.
