Perfect location at reasonable price, but a bit rough. The hotel is cramped and dingy. Location is exceptional, on a street of brownstones instead of an urban canyon. Adjacent to Central Park and great dining options on Columbus street.
For its location and facilities and price it was a good place to stay and I would recommend it We could have used some hooks in the bathroom to hang a towel, there was only one, and a couple of hooks in the bedroom would have been nice as the storage space is really small. The ac/heater was a window unit and when the ac was on it was very loud...it would also shut on and off a lot so there was erratic noise vs. static noise which caused us to wake up several times a night.
