Room wasn’t clean. 2 cockroaches. Bathroom light didn’t work. Toilet barely flushed.
Sadly worn and in need of refurbishment I stayed here once before about 15 years ago and enjoyed it. However, in those years the hotel has become run-down and not maintained well. The furnishings and carpet were visibly worn. The walls had layers of paint with some chips and dried drips. The floors had caked-on dirt in the corners. Fair Dirty, run down, no hot breakfast Location
I survived the week because of the great shower decent internet access and proximity to the Capitol. There was a high frequency vibration in my room that I didn't recognize until my last day when it stopped. I told the front desk about it. It prevented me from getting a good night's sleep all week until it stopped. The drawers of the main cabinet were dusty and had small wood chips inside and getting into my clothes. For the price I would not be staying there again. Rather pay a little more for a better overall room Upon arrival room smelt of mold. Walking on the carpet felt very dirty. Also there were small roaches both on the walls and corner crevices of the room. Location was great for being downtown.
