It was an ok stay overall Carpets in room very threadbare due to pet allowance. Shower in morning will scald you as heat level changed during showers. Good morning breakfast Service for a moderate hotel though it should be warmer.
While the property was “ok” I would not choose to stay again. I could hear guests in the next room talking. The lights in the bathroom were on a timer and dim. The only light in the sink “room” operated by pressing an icon on the mirror, but it didn’t work all the time. I asked if the parking area was secure without problems and the desk clerk said, “Yes, since there is construction going on outside all night.” Not comforting. Will not stay again. May have been an off night, but dogs barking on my floor, babies crying and guests shouting and slamming doors all hours of day, night and morning. Appeared to be clean, rooms were nice.
Poor Water pressure was horrible. Quiet
Hotel staff needs serious re-training Front desk staff really messed up when we checked in. He gave the people in front of us the wrong room key, which wasn't a good start. Then he gave us keys to a room that was occupied, which was seriously distressing. If we had walked in on the guests it would have been mortifying, but it left us feeling very worried about our own safety and the safety of our belongings should he give someone else keys to our room. Fair We stay at a lot of LA Quintas, and I must say this is the first time we were seriously disappointed. The parking lot had litter everywhere. The staff were rather rude and unfriendly at check-in and pretty much with every encounter. ( The staff is 80% of the reason why we always book with this chain). The beds were uncomfortable and squeaked every time you moved, and there was hair left in the tub 🤮. Breakfast staff were so rude and did not make you feel very welcomed at all.
