Good morning! Sadly, we are moving from Mesquite to North Carolina so we had to stay at a local hotel in the area. We chose La Quinta, which is normally a good choice! However, this particular property was in the middle of a remodel, and the rooms were archaic. The bathtub was full of rust and stains. Therefore we declined to even get in there. This used to be a decent hotel. First, I noticed the toilet seat was loose, and there was mold in my restroom. My bed had hair all over one side. I'm not sure if it was pubic hairs on dog hair. Long store short, this used to be a nice hotel, but whomever runs this place now needs to be TERMINATED. There's no parking with remodeling going on.

Hotel is absolutely disgusting! They must have no cleaning staff! I left and went to another motel and lost money in this room. You can clean the chair you must not clean the beds either. Roaches and mold as well as food crumbs everywhere! Worst of all nobody cares I turned my key card in after 2 hour and no refund, no I’m sorry.

This place is absolutely terrible. The rooms are filthy. There’s roaches mold the doors don’t even feel like they’re safe as soon as we walked in we already had a roach, charging in the restroom, went and told the front desk and they said there was no more rooms later discovered Food on the chairs food on the counters hair in the shower floor so we turned in our keys and left got no refund. No I’m sorry and still can’t reach a manager.

They are a one-star at best. The hotel is dirty. They are in the process of renovations, but they make little to no effort to clean. The first room they tried to put us in was DIRTY! It had stuff left in the drawers and smelled horrible. The second room was much better but was not completely finished. Bathroom plugs didn't work, and the room was dark.
