3rd year staying, definitely let me and my wife down Sink being cloaked! No use! Ceiling dripped and late check out never happened after speaking with 3 employees! Still haven't heard from General Manager? Breakfast was great

Okay I requested a 1st floor room because I travel with a vision-assist service dog. They had me booked in a 3rd floor room, but they switched it for me when I complained.

Got potential The airport shuttle bus was horrible, had to wait over an hour for a pickup. Eric in the morning front desk has a discussing condescending attitude. The place was clean, room was nice and breakfast was great.
Noisy Loud AC unit, Train track behind hotel caused noise throughout the night. Clean room, refrigerator and microwave in the room.

AVOID AVOID LOCATION DANGER... DO NOT BOOK HERE - the area is awful downtrodden and dirty with no shops or amenities. None of the reviews i read mentioned this - reviews can MISLEAD. There is a train next to the hotel which makes a terrible racket. I left at about midnight and the Uber driver said we don't usually pick up from this area because its dangerous etc. NOT THE PLACE FOR A HOTEL. The guests that I saw also looked troubled so Im not sure if the hotel is used by social services for temporary accommodation. For where ... read more

Thank you for your stay with us and for sharing your feedback which I will share with staff. Far Rockaway was completely devastated by Hurricane Sandy and is still rebuilding. Many businesses closed never to reopen and people are still displaced from their homes some of which need to be lifted. I can assure you the neighborhood is very safe and the beach across the street is beautiful to walk and ride a rental bike. We hope you stay with us again.
