We were quietly celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary. The service and food were both wonderful .
The food was good but not great. The veal was a bit tough. The fettuccine alfredo was mediocre as well. Service and ambiance were good. Overall a lackluster evening.
We eat at La Strada a couple of times a year and have never been disappointed. The service is great and the food is always outstanding. We have become fans of the tasting menu which has always been great. They also have an excellent wine list which is not outrageously priced. All in all a wonderful dining experience.
Best Italian food I have ever had at least in Reno at a very reasonable price my waiter Tony is the best he remembers the wife and I and what we like and order right down to the extra garlic thank you
Nice ambience, many menu selections and the food was great! Our waiter was very attentive and informed about the various dishes on the menu. Our only complaint was that our wine pours for individual glasses were 1/3 full and for $ 14.00 this price was outrageous. Food prices were reasonable, but would probably bring our own wine and pay corkage fee if we return.
Food was good, service was great, but dessert was not so good. We went here about a year ago and desserts was awesome. This time it was below average. I’d say go but skip dessert.
Everything was excellent. We had the best birthday dinner and our server was superb. He made great suggestions and was very attentive. Cheers to the Chef!!!!
Having dinner before a show. The service was attentive and professional. Calamari was stupendous as well as the shrimp. The wife raved about the baked salmon and the boy enjoyed the linguini. I had the ribeye which was delicious, but wasn’t impressed with the cheesy baked potato. The fried artichoke heart would of be better if they weren’t saturated in oil. Overall a good experience as the atmosphere was good 2 go.
We always enjoy dinner at La Strada! It is a great place for special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries. It is also a good spot for a romantic dinner. From the welcome at the host station to the wait staff to the manager, everyone at La Strada makes guests feel welcome and special. The Italian food is classic and most everything is made from scratch, including some truly fabulous pasta. Be sure to try the Bolognese sauce, which is a Carano family recipe that cooks for hours. A special shout out to bartender Jose at th... read more
