We had anniversary dinner here with our sons. La Strada never disapoints. My mushroom ravoli is so worth waiting for. Staff were very good and checked up on us. Everyone else loved thier dinners as well my Son said the steak is like butter. It is just a great place to enjoy dinner out. Give it a 5 stars.
For $40 per person you can choose the chefs pick. The 4 course dinner was fantastic. Starting with a tossed salad dressed with dressing of goat cheese, pine nuts and house cured duck breast Ala prosciutto followed by risotto with asparagus and their house made mushroom raviolis...we couldn't wait for the main course. We were surprised with Scottish salmon over pureed potatoes with brocolini and the most succulent pork osso bucco over Italian cabbage. The dessert was a coconut inspired frozen tart. It was soon good we went back the next night. The mushroom ravioli and the veal milansese were exceptional
We had to wait an extra 10-15 minutes, but were given a very nice table, as we'd requested on our reservation. The service and food were excellent. I ordered cannoli for dessert, and when our waitress found out it was my birthday, it was served gratis along with the birthday song in Italian. I loved it!
The food, service, personnel are the greatest. We always enjoy our evenings for great dining.
We've been going to La Strada for many years, and it never disappoints. This time, we had brick chicken and butternut squash risotto - both superb (and the risotto was some of the best I've had anywhere). Dennis, our server, was great from the moment we sat down until we were heading for the door. And a word of praise for our Dennis's assistant/busboy (Valetin) - who seemed to always be there at just the right moment but was never intrusive.
The price fix menu with wine pairing was amazing. I would come here again for a special occasion.
We started with Mushroom Ravioli Appetizer also available as an Entree. The next visit I will have it as an Entree, they are outstanding. The baked Halibut was excellent, the Salmon was good but nothing special (what can you do to Salmon?). We have been to La Strada many times and have never been disappointed. They were out of the wine we ordered so they upgraded us to a more expensive wine at no additional charge.
Four of us went there for New Year's Eve. It is its busiest night of the year. All,of the food was great except for the spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti was overcook and the meatballs were dry. The lasagna was fantastic. Service was poor but as I said it was its busiest night of the year.
