Love this restaurant. Had not visited for several years, somehow went off the radar. A recent return visit wowed me! The food reflects the difference when a cook is preparing the food and a Chef is preparing the food. Excellent service always! The Caesar salad is delightful, I don't usually eat this but here it is very lightly dressed and has shaved parmesan.....wow! My only problem with eating here is that garlic bread! We were looking for a spot to celebrate our son being with us for the holiday and a birthday. Could not have found a better gem. Service was outstanding and the meal suggestions were right on target. We recently moved to this area and will be coming back for celebrations and just the occasional night out. There is a difference between dining and eating. . . what a wonderful dining experience.
It was an outstanding dinner. Our server, Dennis, was quite excellent in his service. The food was delectable on a multitude of levels, and both my date and myself were talking about it well into the next day. I will most likely be returning to La Strada for another romantic dining experience.
The wine list was good and, for a restaurant, not overpriced. Found a superb Tignanello with a little age on it. Expensive but reasonable for the quality. The ravioli/shrimp appetizer was world class. The veal scaloppini was very good but perhaps a tiny bit over cooked. The linguini on the side were perfectly cooked and I liked the spicy flavor. Had not dined here in a number of years as rarely get to downtown Reno any more. It was as good as I remembered. The food was very good and the service outstanding! Its a shame such a top notch restaurant is not located in a higher caliber city.

We celebrated my husband's 80th birthday with family. We had a lovely private room. The food was wonderful. The service was very good and the ambiance exquisite. The prices are hard to beat. What more could one ask for? We heartily recommend La Strada.
It was an amazing experience! The meat ravioli was the amazing, and so was the seafood linguine. The fettuccine Alfredo was a little dry, but still delicious. Also, the service was amazing. The host at the front welcomes us warmly, and our waiter was polite and always checked up on us to see if we needed anything. Overall, it was an amazing experience I would recommend to anyone!
We were given a private room for a party of 7 celebrating two birthdays. The atmosphere was festive, the food and wine excellent. As we finished dinner, the lights were dimmed and the entire wait staff entered with desserts for the birthday celebrants, complete with lighted candles and sang Happy Birthday in Italian! A highlight for all.
