Loved the food, lighting, and service. The manager visited our table a couple of times and asked if everything was ok. We will return.
We have dined at La Strada many, many times and continue to be overwhelmed with both the food, wines and particularly the service. We love how we are greeted by Michaael, the Maitr'd. He is always very congenial and inviting and makes us feel like we are very special people in his restaurant. We have eaten there before and love the food and service. We always bring our own wines since corkage is less expensive than the caliber of the wines brought by us. We have returned to this restaurant because the staff, food and ambiance are worthy. If there is a larger group, request the private room.
We were seated next to a huge party consisting of children and lots of loud adults. The food was over-priced for the simpliciy of most of the dishes. The dessert was really good (we had the tiramisu, cannolis and creme brulee). The wine recommendations were really good.
Great experience. I will return to this restaurant.

A very nice place to have dinner with a large group or just for an evening for two. Definitely recommendable.
The food was terrific and the service was next to none. Only one hang up, group next to us was very loud, need to keep noise level down. Hostess saw we were unhappy and moved us to another table.
Portion (pasta vongele) was huge, actually too much to eat. Drop the portion size and maybe the price accordingly. I know "Tooch" and he visitied with us and so did the lady chef, who is from near where my Nonno was born in Italy. It was a special occasion made better by my choice of LaStrada.
