We did the early bird dinner before a show and would highly recommend the restaurant for it's excellent food, wine and service. Also, the shows we have attended have been great! Forgot to add that Open Table was also great and easy to use.
Really enjoyed our meal at La Strada. The prices for the food (and the wine) were very reasonable for the quality.
Food and service are/were excellent. It's too bad it's in downtown Reno but it's worth putting up with being downtown Reno.
Third visit and better than ever! This trip to Reno was expressly to dine at La Strada with family member who had not yet enjoyed this establishment. Resounding success!!
The service was impeccable and the food was delicious.
Food done right! The staff is well informed and answers questions regarding the options being served! Never have to ask for anything since the staff is so attentive! Everyone involved with our table was professional yet warm and friendly!
The atmosphere was lovely (we really enjoyed the "starry sky") even though the open kitchen increased the noise level somewhat. Of the dishes we had, the lasagna and the short ribs were outstanding and the seafood linguine was very good. The ahi tuna portion of the ahi-with-risotto was fabulous, but the risotto was tepid on arrival and lacking in flavour. The breading on the fried calamari appetizer was nice and light, but it was also bland. The desserts, on the other hand, were divine.
Great service, great ambiance, nicely decorated tables, comfortable chairs. But the food was such a disappointment.
Love love this place. Never disappoints. Great food, great servers!
