We received very poor service which made the whole dining experience bad. The atmosphere was very romantic and special but it was hard to enjoy because we felt pushed aside by our server because we are a younger couple. It took 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge that there was an issue with our food which was a bit upsetting. Manager was nice and prompt in fixing the problem once he was aware.
the mushroom ravioli are among the best. always more than pleased with each experience at la strada. perhaps the best compliment is that la stada is "fit for foodies". keep up the great work. rft
La Strada is one of the best Italian restaurants in Reno. The food is always excellent.
We had been to the restaurant last year and had a great time and meal. This year not so good. We invited our children for the third anniversary and it was not so great. We each had something different so we could try each others. But the veal was dry, the chicken was dry also. The kids had fish, and beef. They like theirs. We did have the mushroom ravioli and they were wonderful. Service was very good. The desert was very good. All in all the food was 50/50.
The food was wonderful but it was extremely noisy. My husband could not even hear me across the table. Thats our favorite restaurant so when we are in Reno we will still eat there.
We have been dining at La Strada for several years now while attending the Reno Air Races. We have always had wonderful service and fabulous food & wine.
Evano continues to be one of my favorite chefs.
As resort restaurants go La Strada is top notch. Attentive yet not overbearing service, good classic menu preparations in a cozy atmosphere that would be the envy of many a restaurant anywhere. Definitely a top notch Reno restaurant that I would recommend to anyone.
Very nice experience, food was good and service was very good, although there was a longer than expected wait to be seated with only two parties in line ahead of us, should be staffed with two people seating.
