Great food. Service spotty. Slow to get drinks. Slow to get check. There are 4 critical points to dining out. 1) food. is it good. 2) table greeting. get there quick and return with drinks asap. 3) waiter knowledge. they better know the menu 4) get the check asap if the diners are done. I hate waiting for a check. thanks. Mike

Very nice. I didn't expect much from a restaurant in a Reno hotel but was very pleasantly surprised.
This was the 6th year that my wife and I have enjoyed the Sweetheart Valentines dinner at La Strada and the dinner and restaurant never fail to impress. We have always gone with the Chef's choice and have never been disappointed. Thanks for a great time, see ya next year! Steve and Deb
WE ALWAYS ENJOY LA STRADA. SO FAR THE FOOD HAS BEEN WONDERFUL. THEIR MUSHROOM RAVIOLIS ARE TO DIE FOR, AND I DONT EVEN LIKE RAVIOLIS. THE SERVICE IS GOOD AND THE AMBIANCE IS WONDERFUL. ALL-IN-ALL IT IS ALWAYS A GREAT EXPERIENCE.
Chef Ivano is superb. This Italian restaurant is notable. Try the chef's special tasting menu for a surprise treat. We go here for special occasions and are never disappointed. The Ferrari-Carano fume blanc and sienna wines are favorites.
Whenever I make it up to Reno I try and have dinner at La Strada. Their chef does a great job everything on the menu. We had the mushroom ravioli which was superb. Their lamb chops were great. Service was excellent.
My guests and I all had the chef's tasting menu. 4 courses for $40 and each course was excellent. The chef changes his selections on a daily basis depending on what fresh items he has. He can also customize it slightly based on a diner's preferences. Portions were adequate. Wine selection is good and prices are reasonable. Our waiter, Chris, was outstanding.
Great food and service. We eat there every time we are in Reno.
