Service was spot on. All the food was outstanding, but most notably was my entree, which was the best risotto I've ever had! Top it off with a glass of Ferrari Carano Tre Terre Chardonnay and it was perfection!
Although I can't pronounce most of the dishes. The Italian food was the best this gringo ever had.

Everything about the evening was perfect - we had the mushroom ravioli appetizer followed by seared scallops and baked salmon, delicious house wine and dessert. Our waiter, Jorge helped make the experience special. We will definitely return.
This is one of the top three Italian restaurants in Reno. The food is really good and they also have a wide selection of great wines to chose from. If you like Italian food they will have something on the menu for everyone. We have been there many times , always had a great meal & time and will go back again.
We loved the old world Italian ambiance. The service was hit and miss. The server stated he would bring us bread when he took our drink order, but it never materialized, once we were able to get his attention we reminded him; even though another table he was waiting (seated after we were) had faster service. Had a great evening with friends. We all had different selections from the menu and we all thought our individual orders were excellent. Great ambiance away from the casino noises. Had one side dish that wasn't quite up the standards set by the the other food and the waiter immediately replaced this within minutes with an alternative suggestion. The service throughout the dinner was outstanding. Highly recommend La Strada.
The staff of La Strada is competent and considerate. All work very hard to make the guest's visit an "experience", instead of just a meal. Adjectives like "unobtrusive", "polite", and "concerned" fit perfectly. Food portions are very adequate, so some eaters might want to split meals. Respectfully submitted. The food and atmosphere at LaStrada are both excellent but, the fact that you can get Ferrara Carano wine at prices that I cannot get back home in Chicago is the best part. We will continue to visit La Starda on every visit and recommend to our friends.
