We had out of town visitors, we knew where to take them for good Italian. Food, service and staff always deliver to our high level of expectations. Our visitors have called us twice to thank us for taking them to LaStrada. Cudos to Michael (maitre de) and Monica (hostess) for making us feel like part of their family.
At some point several years ago the quality had declined. I used to joke that the best dinner and the worst dinner I had were at the same restaurant. After 5 years we decided to try it again,.Heard there was a new chef--- THE FOOD WAS GREAT< THE SERVICE WAS GREAT!!!! We will be back.
Mike was the best! He was very attentive to us and those around us. One of our favorites in Reno!! We're local, so will be back soon!.

Wonderful food at La Strada. Just moved back to Reno and found it was as good as ever. Prosciutto wrapped shrimp and wood fired salmon were outstanding!
Love this restaurant. Had not visited for several years, somehow went off the radar. A recent return visit wowed me! The food reflects the difference when a cook is preparing the food and a Chef is preparing the food. Excellent service always! The Caesar salad is delightful, I don't usually eat this but here it is very lightly dressed and has shaved parmesan.....wow! My only problem with eating here is that garlic bread! La Strada cannot be appreciated in one visit. There are too many delectable options to choose from. From the ambience and the service, to the food and the wine, it could not have been any better, unless you get there between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. for the early bird special. We were looking for a spot to celebrate our son being with us for the holiday and a birthday. Could not have found a better gem. Service was outstanding and the meal suggestions were right on target. We recently moved to this area and will be coming back for celebrations and just the occasional night out. There is a difference between dining and eating. . . what a wonderful dining experience.
Had not dined here in a number of years as rarely get to downtown Reno any more. It was as good as I remembered. The food was very good and the service outstanding! Its a shame such a top notch restaurant is not located in a higher caliber city.
