Disappointing dinner tonight. Kitchen seemed to be off. The only item we considered good, was my wife’s insalata salad. I was not impressed with their Caesar. It was rather bland and had some stalk in it. The carbonara was blah. And they can’t cook a steak! My requested medium rare filet Mignon was bloody, mushy red, not even qualifying as rare! Our first visit was outstanding, but last nights meal on Christmas eve was just OK. The artichoke appetizer was 90% arugala and 4 small pieces of artichoke heart. The veal meatballs were very good, but the mushroom ravioli were not on par with our prior visit. maybe it was the Holiday night?

We ordered five different meals. The salmon was raw and the rigatoni was undercooked. They gave us a new order of rigatoni to go, but the salmon would take too long so they took it off the bill

My only grief is with the food, especially for the price. Hard risotto that's somehow dry and slimy. The Thanksgiving special wasn't to taste either.

Server was not prepared. Did not know what order to serve and miss placed items. The Risotto was cold, gnocchi was tasteless, veal had no taste. Waiter spilled the breads and brushed it on the floor and did not clean up. We always had good service and food here, but, this time everything sucked. May not go back!

Well, dry, over salty and barely enough food for the price.. seared scallops? Menu item should be huge bed of undercooked risotto w a game of hide and seek to try and find your 3 tiny scallops.. They should be embarrassed.. offered a free dessert.. um, I'm hungry still. We did buy 2 appetizers as well. Way too much money for the quality , quantity provided..

1. Ive gone out of my way to eat dinner at la Strada for many years because I’ve thought how nice it was to include nicely prepared food. This trip was not very good 2. Started with receptionist trying to seat my brother and I in an alleyway and not in the main dining room which was primarily empty. I’m 30 weeks pregnant, and asked our waitress for a non-alcoholic beverage made with ginger beer. She brought back a beverage with ginger beer and vodka. When we confronted her about it, she apologized but blamed the bartender repeatedly. She didn’t even offer to remove it from our bill.
