Just had a very disappointing experience at La Strada. The highlight of our meal unfortunately was the bread, after receiving that it just went downhill. Our waiter was nice enough to start, my friend ordered the Carbonara and I ordered the Fettucini alfredo with chicken. Order comes, and its not correct. The waiter misheard my friend, and brought out spaghetti marinara which wasnt a big deal, I let him know it was not correct and our server, Mike, decided to get very condescending. Disastrous. We arrived at 8:45 per our reservation. They got our appetizers at around 9 PM, which we finished by 9:15. The entrees did not arrive until after 10 PM. It was the longest and most uncomfortable wait, and no one even checked in on us. Our waiter just disappeared. Then reappeared after 45 minutes-ish to bring our super late food. Our suspicion was they forgot to cook our food and only started it after one of us stood up to ask a question. The food was so so 45 minutes to get shrimp alfredo and lamb chops. Pasta was flavorless and undercooked

Had 8pm reservations. Got there at 7:45 and asked to be seated and we were. Waited about 10 minutes to get helped. Called over a waiter but he refused to come over. Called over another waitress who apologized and said she would send over our waiter which turned out to be the one that refused to come over when asked earlier. When he finally came to the table he made a snarky remark "Well I guess this is my table now..." Didn't ask us for a drink order, that's when we got up and left. Antipasto was lunch meat that had spoiled, my entree margarita pizza was really bad. Burnt crust, canned tomato paste smothering the dough with dried oregano sprinkled on top, blobs of mozzarella on top. 10 year old could make a better pizza. They did the right thing and I was not charged for those items and was given dessert no charge. Great wine selection and a heavy pour. I feel sorry for the wait staff having to bear the brunt of this awful food. Go have a drink, but do not eat here

I WAS VERY MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO VEAL MARSALA ON THURSDAY. THE MEAL WAS NOT AS DESCRIBED ON THE MENU, WHICH SAID VEAL W/SUNDRIED TOMATOES, MUSHROOMS AND THE MARSALA SAUCE. I COULD NOT TASTE ANY MARSALA. THERE WAS POTATOES AND ASPARAGUS. I DON'T LIKE ASPARAGUS AND POTATOES ARE TOTALLY OUT OF PLACE ON THAT DISH. WHEN I EXPRESSED MY DISAPPOINTMENT TO THE WAITER, HE SAID I SHOULD HAVE SAID I DID NOT WANT THE POTATOES AND ASPARAGUS AND ASKED FOR EXTRA MARSALA SAUCE. Calamari and Osso Bucco were OVERCOOKED...Calamari was like chewing rubber bands....Osso bucco was like eating pulled pork...Will not eat here again....
