The home is new. Staff are extremely courteous and friendly. Rooms and facilities are very clean and well designed. Themes in most community areas. Easy access by car from the motorway. Activities for the residents are good even I enjoy them.

My mother came here after a prolonged stay in hospital. Up until then, she had been very independent. I never dreamed I would have to place mum in a care home but from our very first visit to look around everyone is so friendly. As soon as mum was shown to her beautiful room she hasn't stopped smiling. All the staff and carers have introduced themselves to us. I know she will be very happy here.

Lakeview Lodge Care Home is a really good residential home. All the carers there are very professional and caring. But, if your loved one suffers from dementia and has some behaviour issues, or will develop in the future behavioural challenges as the illness progresses, then this residential home is probably not for you. Their core competence is residential and it's more like a very good OAP home than a care home.

Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The food is cooked to perfection. Friendly people and staff. Clean, tidy, warm. Feels like a hotel with own room with tea facilities.

The care I receive here is amazing. The staff are so caring and kind to me. My quality of life is much better since moving to Lakeview.

This wonderful new care home has just looked after my 90-year-old mother for a few weeks respite. I cannot rate Lakeview Lodge Care Home and its staff highly enough.

Cannot fault this hotel with care. Food wonderful, can't fault a thing. The caring is top class. Enjoyed the activities. Management very caring. I have made a first-class decision.
