RecommendedLantern Oaks has an excellent selection of amenities and the sites are large and paved. The office / clubhouse is a great place to hang out when the weather isn’t good for outdoor activities. The resort is close to the bustling center of Fredericksburg, but far enough away to be quite peaceful, unless the local airport is busy! Management / owners are helpful and available. The whole resort is secure, with coded entry. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for!

RecommendedIt was very nice & clean. We did not get use of the pool and hot tub but will be back next year in June 2026. Everyone on site was very nice and easy check in.

Recommendedthe check in process was the best we have ever had. I like the personal touch. The astronomer and his telescope was such a unique experience and we very much enjoyed his visit. The park was very clean and the clubhouse was so nice. So many nice things about this RV park. Will definitely be back.

RecommendedTop notch facility. Arrived on Friday. Wine tasting was at 5 pm. Did I say it was part of the stay. I recommend trying to get people to bring a pot luck based on wines in review? Promotes conversation and helps maybe break the ice in meeting people. Hot tub and the football games on the tv were nice. Games usually lasted until after 10. Recommend moving time to 11:00 for hot tub and facilities. Dog park was nice . Overall I’d give 4.75 stars.

RecommendedBeautiful resort! Friendly accommodating staff. Very well maintained. I would highly recommend Lantern Oaks. We stayed at Site 66. When were there, we inquired each day about moving to 64. We were told it would be occupied at each inquiry, but it never was.

RecommendedWe stayed the weekend and lantern oaks is absolutely beautiful very clean spacious spots. Loads of amenities pool pickle ball basketball court etc. If you’re in the area check it out you wont be disappointed.

RecommendedWe have stayed at multiple RV resorts in the Fredericksburg area and Lantern Oaks is by far the nicest we have stayed at. The place is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. They have level concrete pads and roadways with full hookups. We booked a back in spot with the dog run and our dogs seemed to enjoy the free time off leash. The only negative I have is that the back in spots closest to Highway 16 are very noisy with all of the traffic.
