I found my new dentist and I could not be happier! I know dentists are scary and I absolutely hate having to go because it's never fun lol. However this office makes you feel good as soon as you walk in. As a matter of fact from the moment I called to make the appointment I felt like I picked the right place. Growing up I was told to watch out for car salesmen, realtors, and dentists, because they will take you for all you have if you let them. So, now that I've had to move for family reasons, I've decided to write a totally fair review for Northridge Dental considering that 134 miles maybe a bit far to travel for a dental appointment. This office is amazing! I have the biggest fear of the dentist and Dr Matian and the staff are simply exquisite! First root canal ever today and it was a breeze, had my crown made in location as well. Dr Matian was patient and gentle . Process was great and painless! Thank you Dr and staff for making this a fantastic experience.

Absolutely the best dentist location I have been to. I stuck to my childhood dentist but had a horrible experience that traumatized me. Needless to say, I hadn't been to the dentist out of fear in almost 8 years (long time, don't judge me). The staff at this location is so polite and understanding. During my visit, they were patient with my anxiety and Dr. Martian was so cool and made me feel at ease. He read my anxiety and was patient with me while he examined my teeth. Previously I had a dentist that was pretty harsh so I was nervous to come to a new dentist. I immediately felt welcomed when I walked in and after a quick set of paperwork I was seen right away. I went to have X-rays and my wisdom teeth looked at. I was consulted and everything was explained to me and broken down. I felt so informed and comfortable. VENEERS! I found this office 5 years ago on my search for natural looking veneers and have been going there ever since! The veneers look amazing and so natural that not even other dental professionals can tell unless they're looking at an X-ray! Beyond cosmetics, Dr. Matian really knows his stuff. I absolutely LOVE this office! Back in November, I had an abscessed tooth that needed a root canal ASAP. Dr M was so gracious and saw me the day before Thanksgiving at 5 o'clock. YES- 5pm. I had enough time to get there after work and was so happy I took the appointment. Zaliyah, the front desk and patient care coordinator is so lovely. This is my second visit. I personally have had traumatizing memories of the dentist. So coming here I was scared but I had to go because of hygiene. Anyways everyone is friendly and I was due for a deep cleaning so that means NEEDLES! Surprisingly, it didn't hurt as much as I thought it was going to and afterwards Shiva was friendly and understanding when I got a little anxious (more like really anxious). Dr. Shawn went to USC, the Premiere dental school from my research. Having been to 15+ dentists in 69 years this IS my man. Dr.Shawn is most skilled with the anesthesia. I never felt like the needle was reaching my tonsils like other dentists. 6 crowns on the top finished beautifully. 7 midway through the process now. There is a staff that knows what they're doing. No need to look for a dentist after years of searching. What a relief.
