We had a wonderful time at La Bonne Vie. The food was flawless, the wine was perfect and the service was impeccable. I will absolutely be going back and recommending it to others. Made a great birthday weekend even better!

The menu is outstanding. $160 for dinner for two, but the food is definitely worth the price. Server was very attentive. Wasn't impressed with the appearance of the restaurant, but I was there to eat, not sight see.

La Bonn Vie Steakhouse is located within a casino. Be prepared to walk through a slots area that is smoker-friendly. It has been changed back to LBV from Sensory 3 and the physical changes are not yet completed. The fillet Oscar was a perfect medium rare. A bit less Dijon and a bit more tarragon in the Bernaise sauce would have made it outstanding. The creamed baby spinach is another story. La Bonne Vie Steakhouse is on par with a Ruth Chris. Rib eyes were cooked to perfection. Service was excellent.

Reverting back to the original, traditional steak house format, La Bonne Vie has not hit the target. Though they've restored the wood paneling look, and are using the TV monitors to show classic art pieces, the non-stop Frank Sinatra music, and average service & food fell well short of their former level. We came back because they served the best steaks. Disappointed in the premium steak. I've eaten at the notable steak houses in Washington DC, Ruth Cris, Mortons of Chicago etc. Your restaurant should be an equal..................

Love this restaurant. I am so glad that it went back to LA Bonne Vie. The noise level and atmosphere is so much more to our liking now. Also Christian our server was fantastic!

Sensory 3 at Presque Isle Downs and Casino recently reverted to La Bonne Vie Steakhouse, and a great place became even better. The noise level is down, the table arrangement more private, and the fabulous filets and cheese biscuits are still on the menu. I missed the baked sweet potato but was told that I could still have that previous offering by letting them know in advance. On this occasion, our waiter was absolutely superb. We look forward to returning soon.
