I did visit the restaurant when it was La Bonne Vie, once. That experience was a good but expensive one. My recent visit, under the new restaurant name LBV Steak and Pasta, was also good, but more in a reasonable price range. The service was attentive but not fawning, the food was fresh and tasty, and there was plenty of it. We stopped in to use gift card we receiveded from WKKY radio. First time at casino. The restaurant, food and staff were real good. The staff was very attentive. Not just the waiter and busser, but the manager stopped by several times to check and he was also working to remove dishes as soon as we were finished. Our food was delivered in a timely manner and all of it was real good, especially the fried ravioli appetizer and our steaks (done just as we requested). Real nice time.
This was the bast meal I have had out in a very long time. Steak was outstanding.
The server and Manager frequently came to our table to ask if we were pleased with the service. This is a far cry from the last visits. Very refreshing.
Loved the fried ravioli. The filet was so tender, done rare, you could almost cut it with a fork. Creamed spinach was but could have been warmer. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our dinner very much. I thought our waiter, Chris, could have been more engaged, but seemed to either be overwhelmed with tables or didn't really care about us. I have experienced the level of service Chris has provided before, but he was off this night. Food was cooked perfectly and we ate everything!
We have visited here 3 times in the past 6 weeks. The food is so good! The bread to die for! The wait staff was great! If I had one negative to say about it, it would be that each time we were there, the service was slow even when it didn't seem that busy.
We had been here several times in the past and wanted a special place for our 40th. We checked the menu online and were pleased that you could now get the lobster mac and cheese as a side. We were sorry to see that it is now an Italian restaurant, heavy on the garlic. We had just returned from spending a year in Italy and we were disappointed. I think it is a good move for the location from a business standpoint but just not we wanted.
My wife and I spent a nice evening at LBV this past weekend. We thought the food was great and good value. The staff was friendly and helpful in the menu options. There was a rush midway through dinner which pulled some service away but the server adapted quickly. We will go back soon for another visit
