Will not fit printer. Would not fit my printer. I checked before ordering. Did not receive a return after reporting the problem, so I’m stuck with $100 worth of worthless cartridges!!
Falls way short of advertised 3,000 pages, expiration date on package covered up Pros: - It fits, it works Cons: - I'm printing pages with very little text or color, but I'm only getting about 100 pages before a cartridge (ANY cartridge) runs out of ink. No where near the 3,000 pages advertised for these cartridges. - Don't know if it's the seller or manufacturer doing it, but the package came with a new bar code sticker that "conveniently" covers the entire "USE BY:" date info, so it is completely hidden. Failure to Recognize, Defective cartridge I always keep ink cartridges in reserve so obviously did not install this one right away. When I needed a new cartridge recently, the printer could not recognize the cartridge. As a good printer user, tried several times, shaking each time as instructed, also restarted the printer. Under no circumstances was the cartridge recognized. Replaced the old cartridge, which was recognized immediately, but could not be used because the ink was depleted. Cartridge change can traumatize printer Original trial ink had not run out but inserting this one created or revealed a clog. Took service shop to fix it. Printer had sat for a week without use but powered on. Imagine the problems if this were not genuine!
Defective... This carriage was defective. I tried inserting it and it doesn’t click. Very upset about this brand. I had a Bother printer before and it had the problems.
Brother Inkvestment Ink More reasonably priced ink is a great idea. The problem is that the cartridges don't seem to last anywhere near the expected page count. Yes, I know all about how estimates are for 5% coverage. However, the printer can go through a set of cartridges in just a few cleaning cycles. Immediately after purchasing my first set of full capacity cartridges, somehow my nozzles were clogged. In clearing the nozzles, in about an hour, the color carts went to about 10%. Oops Ordered 2 black and 2 color. Received 4 color.
Worked at first but then got clogged I could not ... Worked at first but then got clogged I could not get it to clear so ended up getting another and tossing this one!
