Absolutely the most disappointing misrepresentation of a Leaf Guard gutter sale that my elderly widowed neighbor has endured after not only being coerced into getting the Leaf Guard Gutters installed on her historic house when she doesn't even have trees, but also the unprofessional installation that has resulted in additional issues such as flooding in back and on front porch where gutter is routed on the roof. Terrible company. Product is fine but service ***** I have a reputable company coming to rip their product off and install a gutter system properly. Gutter Guard in ************** on ********** Ave should be avoided no matter what. Zero service.
what I want to know is how a business this horrible with communication, customer service and lack of follow through can have a a customer review rating of **** starts out of 5 stars and still have an A+ rating and accreditation. I spent almost 13K to have the gutters installed. They could not install 25 feet of the guttering. I contacted the company in November of 2023 to request a refund for the work they did not do. It took them over 3 weeks to get in touch with me. I tried for 2 months to get a response. They chose to only communicate via text message. I personally feel that they should have communicated with me verbally, but chose not to. We are still waiting for them to finish the leaking in the patio. No response to calls or texts. Wish we never have gotten the gutter
We called LeafGuard about gutters. Horrible experience!! The guy that came out would not give us an estimate. He just kept saying , “Don’t you think it is the best choice”. This is after an hour sales pitch about how bad the other gutters are for your home. My husband and I repeatedly ask for an estimate after about five times. He said, “Sorry I failed you”. Leafguard installed a new gutter system on the entire house. When the crew arrived we covered what was to be done. We were replacing hail-damaged gutter helmets and I was told the old s**** holes would be filled with silicon. The response was, "We don't do that". I refused to sign the work authorization. The lead installer made a call and I was then informed they would fill the holes. I later learned from an insurance adjuster and roofer that filling holes with silicone wasn't a long-term solution. Pros - friendly staff Cons- was told would never have to climb ladder to clean gutters. This is true but now I have to climb ladder to clear valley overflow guards or blocked screens. Used to have gutters cleaned 2 x a year my son has already climbed The roof 4 times to clear different areas of screen Other option clean them clean screens which is call out and pay $95 Was told gutted overflow bad for fountain. This com[plaint is an addendum to my previous complaint. As a result of my complaint, A week ago Friday I received a call at 8AM from a person "named" Brian show I identified himself as the Director of the North East Region for Leaf Guard. He had reviewed my complaint and told me that someone would het back to me within a day or two to resolve my issue.
